Verse of the Day:
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

You ever notice how fear is like that one nosy neighbor who always finds a way to ruin your plans? You’re about to step out in faith—maybe share your beliefs at work, pray over your lunch in public, or invite someone to church—and suddenly, fear creeps in like, “Whoa there, buddy. You sure you want to do that? People might think you’re weird.”
Fear loves to keep us in our comfort zones. And let’s be honest, comfort zones are… well, comfortable! No awkward conversations, no side-eye from coworkers, no risk of being labeled “that Christian.” But here’s the thing—Jesus didn’t call us to a life of quiet, unnoticed faith. He called us to be bold.
Faith vs. Fear: The Eternal Tug-of-War
Our fear of rejection or judgment often keeps us from fully embracing our calling. We hesitate to mention our faith in the workplace, at family gatherings, or even on social media (because let’s face it, online debates can be brutal). But Isaiah 41:10 reminds us that we don’t have to navigate these moments alone.
God says “Fear not”—not because the world will always be kind, but because He is with us. He promises to strengthen us, help us, and uphold us. That means when we feel weak, He’s our power. When we’re unsure, He’s our confidence. And when we feel like we’re standing alone, He’s actually right there, standing with us.
What’s the Worst That Could Happen?
Seriously, let’s play this out. Maybe a coworker gives you an odd look when they see you praying over your food. Maybe a friend rolls their eyes when you mention church. Maybe a stranger makes a snarky comment about your faith.
But let’s flip the script—what’s the best that could happen?
Someone might be inspired by your boldness.
A struggling coworker might come to you for prayer.
A friend might start asking questions about Jesus.
And even if none of those things happen, you’ll have pleased the only One whose opinion truly matters.
Stepping Out in Boldness
So, what’s one thing you can do today to push back against fear and stand boldly for Christ? Maybe it’s sharing a verse on social media, inviting a friend to church, or simply being open about your faith in a casual conversation. Whatever it is, do it knowing that God’s righteous right hand is upholding you every step of the way.
Fear might knock on the door, but with God’s strength, you don’t have to let it in.
Prayer:
Lord, I confess that fear often holds me back from fully living out my faith. Give me the courage to stand boldly for You, even when it feels uncomfortable. Remind me that You are always with me, strengthening and upholding me. Help me to shine Your light in a world that so desperately needs You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Now go out there and be bold! And if anyone gives you a weird look for loving Jesus, just smile and remember—you’ve got divine backup.
